The applicant management system uses AI to recommend applicants who are most qualified for your job position.

For example, using the “recommended” sort filter will bring the most qualified applicants to the top of the page, based on the applicant’s experience, skills, Japanese level, and location.

On the other hand, applicants who do not fit the job requirements will not be displayed at the top of the recommended list.

If you want to view the applications in chronological order instead of the recommended view, you can change the sort accordingly.

How to additionally set up Email Forwarding

<aside> 📩 You can view your applicant information at any time through the Employer Dashboard.

If you would also like to receive the applicant’s information through email, you can set up email forwarding to multiple email addresses on your team.

The subject of emails forwarded will be titled:

“Applicant name - Position name - Japan Dev"

In addition, Japan Dev will automatically send an email to the applicant after they submit their application:

Hey, Thanks for applying for a job through Japan Dev! We’ve confirmed your application and forwarded it to the company. If they’re interested, you’ll hear directly from them soon.

Please contact the applicant directly for any further discussions.

If you make an offer to a candidate and they accept the position, please note that you have 5 business days to report your successful hire to Japan Dev.

We leave it up to your team to decide whether or not to reply to emails regarding candidates who have failed the application process.

(Some companies choose to reply to every application email, and some companies only reply to applicants with whom they wish to proceed further.)
